How does ANPR technology work?
ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) technology allows 24/7 operation at zero cost.

Our system combines ANPR technology with sophisticated back office systems, all handled on your behalf.

We install cameras at the entrance/exit to the car park and capture images of vehicles as they enter and leave. Our back office application translates the number plate and reconciles visitors against staff (white listed), customers (register upon visit) and other authorised users of the car park (e.g. purchase ticket).

The system identifies vehicles that have breached your car park rules and automatically issues a ticket by post in order to prevent re-offending.

The Problem...

It’s a tough industry in the current environment but it’s made even more difficult when customers can't park. Staff are too busy to keep watch of parking but with constant misuse, business was suffering.

The car park was on a busy through road and next to local amenities. Regular misuse meant that at busy times there was insufficient space for customers to park and in the mornings deliveries and refuse collection could not be carried out properly. This created headaches for management, caused customer inconvenience and ultimately impacted revenues.

The Solution...

Enterprise Parking provided an automated camera system. Customers registered their number plate on the touch screen kiosk at the bar. Management could white list their staff and regulars as well as cancel any accidental tickets. Motorists parking who were not associated with the premises received a ticket in the post with the details of Enterprise Parking Solutions on the letter to stop reoffending.

The system liberated staff from daily responsibility whilst ensuring accurate and automated monitoring of the car park.
